The sparkling grey vastness, like a salty supernova, draws the fire up, and out of my chest, casting my spirt over its glistening expanse. Our convergence gives rise to the tide which floods my being, washing tears down my face, and into my mouth, to remind me of our oneness.
The Flood
Naomi- Lovely. Both your poem and the accompanying photograph. There are moments when life on earth is so beautiful it is almost painful. These are moments that are otherwise hard to explain and seem to redeem much of the inevitable sorrow of being here. Thank you. -Jack
